Fluid Mechanics and Machines Lab

Basic knowledge of Fluid mechanics and machinery is essential for all the scientists and engineers because they frequently come across a variety of problems involving flow of fluids such as aerodynamics, force of fluid on structural surfaces and fluid transport systems. The experiments performed in this lab are verification of various laws related to fluids, pitot tube, flow over notch, pipe friction, Kaplan turbine and Francis turbine etc.
