Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulic Machines

Fluid mechanics studies fluids (liquids and gases) and the forces on them. Hydraulic machines are machinery and tools that use liquid fluid power to do simple work. Various experiments in this lab include Francis turbine, Kaplan turbine, pitot tube, flow over notches, Bernoulli’s theorem and pipe friction.
